Our History

Our practice is part of Europe’s largest privately owned, independent postgraduate dental education centre, Advanced Dental Seminars (ADS).

Since the start in 2003, Drs Orr and Ayhan have taught over 1500 dentists the techniques and skills we use every day at Advanced Dental Practice. The courses at ADS are always oversubscribed with participants waiting more than a year to book a place and they travel from all parts of UK and Europe. Dr Orr is one of the most recognised lecturers and dentists in the UK. He was voted the most influential private practitioner in the UK by his peers. He regularly features at the top of the polls of key opinion leaders in the country and is part or chair of several awards committees in the dental profession.

We take particular pride in looking after the oral health of many dentists and their families. Over a quarter of our patients are our colleagues hence we are often referred to as “the dentist’s dentist”.

Both our practice and teaching facility have been purpose built and are the culmination of years of hard work, dreams and careful planning.
